Basic course [N5]
At this level you will get proficiency to understand some basic Japanese.
You need to be able to read and understand sentences written
in Hiragana and Katakana and basic kanjis.
You need to able to listen the topics based on daily life and class room situatuions.
You also need to be able to pick up necessary information from short conversation
and spoken slowly.
About the JLPT N4
You should be able to read and understand passages on familiar daily topics
written in basic vocabulary and kanjis
At N4 you need to b able to listen and comprehend conversations encountered in daily life
and generally follow their contents if spoken slowly.
About JLPT N3
At N3 you should be able to read and understand written materials
with specific content about common everyday topics.
You should be able to understand summary information such as newspaper headlines or
essay titles. You are expected to know moderate amount vocabulary and some complex kanjis.
At N3 you need to be able to listen and comprehend conversations in everyday situations
and spoken at near natural speed.
You should be able to follow general conversation content and understand the relationship
among the people involved.
